Student Castle Vitka (Vitka Foundation Student Dormitory)

located within the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam Institute of Technology complex. Student dormitories are provided for students who come from outside the city of Batam. There are 2 dormitory buildings, each building has 35 rooms. For Building A, each room can be occupied by 2 students and for Building B, each room can be occupied by 4 students. The men’s room and the women’s room are separated in the building.

  1. Each room is equipped with air conditioning (AC)
  2. Cupboards, Study Tables and Chairs
  3. Bed & internet line.
  4. Living room for resident guests
  5. Drying room on each floor.
  6. 24 Hour Security and CCTV
  7. Every resident is required to have a fingerprint to enter the dormitory.
  8. Each room is filled with a maximum of 2 people for dormitory A and a maximum of 4 people for dormitory B.
  9. Photocopy of KK/KTP/ID Card/Passport.
  10. Have paid the deposit (Rp. 500,000) and the dormitory rent for 1 (year) can be paid in installments 2 times (Regional Government) and 4 times (Regular).
  11. Make payment of boarding/rent money in accordance with applicable regulations and on time. If you pay late, you will be charged a fine of Rp. 20,000/day.
  12. Undertakes to maintain moral norms and comply with rules and regulations.
  13. The resident’s parents are willing to be contacted if there are problems and it is urgent.
  14. Residents are required to wear polite clothing in the dormitory area.
  15. Residents required 1 year term
  16. Must take part in social activities in the Tiban Ayu community.
  17. Residents are required to pay fees for excess electricity and water usage, the maximum limit for electricity usage is 180 kwh and water 6 m3.

Fasilitas

Dormitory Room Rules

  1. If you leave the room, the room must be locked. Turn off the bedroom and bathroom lights when leaving the room. Turn off all electronic equipment when leaving the room.
  2. Residents may NOT scribble, make holes, paint, or damage doors, windows, bedroom walls, etc.
  3. Valuables should be kept and guarded by each resident.
  4. The manager is not responsible for lost items in the room.
  5. Residents are required to maintain the cleanliness of their respective rooms.
  6. Residents are required to look after assets in the room. If they are damaged, please report them.
  7. Residents are required to report if they want to duplicate a lost key.
  8. Damage to assets in the room by residents must be replaced.

Electricity and Water

  1. It is prohibited to use electronic devices for cooking in the room.
  2. Costs for excess use of electricity and water are borne by the tenant, electricity and water meters are recorded by the management
  3. Use sufficient water and electricity as needed.

Visitor

  1. Male/female guests MUST be accepted in the dormitory living room.
  2. Male/female/family guests are NOT PROHIBITED TO STAY in the room.
  3. The maximum limit for visiting guests in the dormitory is 23.00
  4. Loss of guest items is not the manager’s responsibility.
  5. Residents’ guests/families are required to report to management/security whatever their conditions and interests.
  6. Guests are NOT allowed to smoke indoors.

Coming Home at Night

  1. The gate is locked every 23:00 at night.
  2. Residents who are going home at night or are not going home due to urgent matters must fill out a permit book at the dormitory security.
  3. Residents who do not fill out the permit book are required to accept sanctions given by security if they return home after 23.00 Evening.
  4. Residents who are caught going out at night without permission after 23.00 at night. Received sanctions from the hostel management.

Sanctions

Each violation is given sanctions in the form of a warning letter from the manager in the form of: SP 1 (first warning letter), in the form of a written warning, SP 2 (second warning letter), in the form of a final warning from the manager, SP 3 (third warning letter), in the form of expelling the occupants from hostel.

Generals

  1. If the room is not occupied due to leaving town for a long time, but the occupant has not decided to move, the boarding/rental fee is still paid in full according to the provisions.
  2. Residents who will move, please notify the management 1 (one) month in advance. Otherwise, the deposit will be deducted by 50%.
  3. If the room key is lost, a fee of Rp. 50,000.
  4. The management RESERVES THE RIGHT to deduct the deposit if the room is not cleaned and tidied as before. The deposit will be returned when the room is clean and tidy, the room key has been returned.
  5. Money that has been transferred or paid cannot be returned.
  6. Residents are NOT allowed to smoke in the rooms.
  7. DO NOT BRING LIQUOR/PROHIBITED DRUGS/NARCOTICS/PETS.
  8. The management has the right to evict residents if the residents do not comply with the applicable rules and regulations.
  9. For the comfort of fellow boarding house residents and the surrounding environment, please do not cause noise and always maintain order and cleanliness of the boarding house and the surrounding environment.
  10. The dormitory and its facilities are intended for authorized and registered residents only.
  11. For this reason, please do not bring other parties to stay overnight, use other boarding facilities.
  12. Residents are not permitted to carry out CRIMINAL acts in the dormitory environment
  13. For residents of The Student Castle Vitka whose dormitory rental period has expired, if they do not wish to continue boarding, they must immediately hand over the keys to Management and vacate the room according to the rental expiry date. If you do not hand over the key or your belongings are still in the room until the end of the rental time, you will be charged a daily fee of IDR. 50,000.
    For new residents who will enter and old residents who will leave, this MUST BE carried out during working hours, namely Monday to Saturday, 08.00 – 16.00 afternoon.
